About Camp Enterprise

Camp Enterprise Golden Triangle is a cooperative effort between multiple Rotary Clubs in the ‘Golden Triangle’ region surrounding Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph, Waterloo and Fergus. Selected students have the opportunity, at no cost, to attend a 3 day immersive camp at the University of Waterloo about business and entrepreneurship. Students will get to attend keynote speaker lectures and participate in collaborative activities culminating in a business plan presentation at the end of camp. Visit our FAQ section to learn more about Camp Enterprise Golden Triangle or apply for an interview opportunity.

Welcome to all the students who have registered for the 2019 Rotary Golden Triangle Camp Enterprise:

Welcome and thank you for your participation in the upcoming 2019 Rotary Golden Triangle Camp Enterprise. Rotary believes that lives and communities are made better by uniting and inspiring people to take action to solve problems.

You are a special group.…finding the time and challenging yourselves to learn, share, and find ethical solutions during our New Generations enterprise program.  Thank you.  We hope that the personal experiences and exercises during the May 6-8 2019 period will expose and better prepare you for a few of the opportunities, challenges, and possible responses that you may soon encounter in your personal and business lives.

Many Rotarians have volunteered to make this a memorable and exciting event.  Please take advantage of their effort and expertise … including facilitators, negotiators, and entrepreneurs here to provide a brief glimpse into the world of management, leadership, risk, and service. They believe in you and your potential to build and develop communities.

Your interaction with other students is an integral part of Camp Enterprise.  You are encouraged to exchange contact information and stay in touch … benefit from a network of people with similar aspirations and purpose.

Rotary offers many opportunities to make a difference.  Find out more about our vision and mission at www.rotary.org.

When you have a moment, please extend your appreciation to the Rotarians of the Rotary Clubs in Guelph, Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, Fergus-Elora and all volunteers and contributors … for their personal and financial commitment to improve communities by inspiring you (our future).

Best Regards,

John Gilvesy, Governor 2018-19
